(1) 7 sensations

Address: 16 madras Street
Telephone: 6298 8198
Opening Hours: 11am-10pm (Tue-Sat) 11am-5pm (sunday & public holiday)

This small restaurant is tucked away in a corner of Little India, But do not judge its food by the size of its operation. It offers a wide variety of vegetarian food ranging from Italian to vegetarian takes on local favourites.

Highly recommended is the vegetarian Lasagne ($12.80), which looks pretty to be eaten. pasta sheets are layered neatly on top of eggplant, cucumber & pumpkin chunks, & baked to perfection. The chunks of pumpkin and eggplant are so sweet that you'll probably forget about the absence of minced meat that usually accompanies lasagne.

The other recommended dish is the mutton curry ($12)
The meaty stems of shiitake mushrooms are used to replace the real Meat. But you'll probably be fooled as it tastes and bites like mutton. Soya Milk instead of coconut milk are used but it remains full-bodied and spicy due to the pounded chilli. Chunks of potato and tomatoes complete the dish.

(2) KR50
address: Kent Ridge Cresent
Telephone: 6778 9878
Opening hours: 11.30am-11pm(Mon-fri)
4pm-11pm (sat)

The restaurant, nestled in the cultural hub of the national university of singapore, prides itself on being a place where vegetarians and non-vegetarians can enjoy a meal tgt. This is a place where fusion rules, as seen in the veryy pretty tri colour rppt terrine ($23).

First, carrot, beetroot and pumpkin are separately mashed and layered like kuay lapos in the terrine. the earthy sweetness of the mashed vegetables goes very well with the crispy pile of mixed vegetables tempura. Served on the side are fragrant babay potatoes roasted with cumin & rosemary.

they gt those chinese ngoh hiang Known as truffle roulade too. It's wrapped in fired tofu skin and drizzled with a special coffee-based sauce created by the chef.

(3) Relish

Address: 501,Bukit Timah roas, #02-01, Cluny Court
Telephone: 6763 1547
Opening hours: 12.30pm-2pm, 6.30pm-10pm(mon-fri), 12pm-10pm (weekends)

This burger joint along bukit timah road may be the most unlikely place to find vegetarian offerings, but chef had thoughtfully included several non-meat dishes into the menu. .

Famous for its classic Caesar Salad. (isnt entirely vegetarian as ut uses a dressing that incules anchovies, garlic, paramesan cheese, vinegar, mustard and lemon juice).. haha lucky i dun eat salad... =X
(portobello tofu burger)

For truely vegetarian deal, try the grilled portobello tofu burger ($18)
Instead of bun, you get two slab of chewy, grilled tofu. The patty consists if three large portobello mushrooms that are so thick, juicy & meaty".

(4) Roma Deli

address: Shaw tower, 100 beach road, #01-23
Telephone: 6293 4585
opening hours: 11.30-9pm

Cosy little deli at Shaw tower is great for health-conscious people who have the urge to indulge in french/italian food. There's a selection of sandwiches wrapped in focaccia or croissant, baked rice or pasta dishes available. One of Roma deli's best sellers is the mushroom soup bun ($5.50).

Served in a hollowed-out crusty bread bun,it;s creamy, homemade flavour from the chunky bits of shiitake mushrooms, black pepper, and mixed herbs makes it a wholesome and satisfying soup.

The Hot and spicy teriyaki foccacia sandwich ($6.90) must nt be miss out too.The filling of mock meat is made of soya bean an encased in two slices of soft, warm focaccia bread.

(5) FOOD#3

address: 109 Rowell ROad
Telephone: 6396 7980
Opening Hours: 5pm-10pm, tue
3pm-11.30pm, Fri
12pm-11pm, Sat-sun

Located next to ab hip art gallery, FOOD#3 is decorated in a minimalist style that is relaxing and warm at the ssame time. The signature dish- THE TEMPEH BURGER ($11). The chef has ingeniously transformed tempeh into a patty that has a subtle musky taste, and a texture that is reminiscent of grounded beef. It is sandwiched by slices of fragant, freshly baked focacccia bread that us made daily by the restaurant 's baker , and accompanied with grilled vegetables

Asparagus and oyster mushroom pizza ($12.50)
The mixture of asparagus and oyster mushroom may sound abit strange, but they're a pair made in heaven. They Oyster mushroom adds a meaty texture while the chopped asparagus lends freshness to the flavours. The Mushroom more than replicates the chewiness of the cured sausage- minus the salt. The thin wholemeal crust is baked in-house. and tastes remarkably like premium italian over-baked pizza.

Phew... what a long entry.

Hahah so what are u waiting for?

hhehe, gtg... Bye!
